AS KIDS SEE IT

Knowing that my six-year-old daughter’s class was to receive a talk from a police officer on drug awareness, I collected a sample of household medications, which came in a range of colours, shapes and sizes, and told her about the danger of accepting “sweets” from kids.
When the officer asked if anyone knew what drugs looked like, my daughter raised her hand. “I know about drugs,” Brandy said. “My mummy showed me hers. She has them all over the house.”
