Don’t forget to bring some holiday spirit out to the front of your home! With just a little thought and creativity, Christmas decorations can give the outside of your home a warm and inviting feel for the holiday season.

• First, choose a theme. The most beautifully decorated homes are usually theme based. Whether it’s a color combination, holiday characters, or your religious beliefs – stick with your theme throughout the outside of your home for a clean and classy look that your neighbours will admire!

• Don’t pack away your planters and urns! Fill them up with a few artificial poinsettia plants. Drape some tinsel or tie some ribbon around the pot for some extra holiday spirit.

• Dress the front door with a holiday wreath and decorate it with a few tiny ornaments, sprigs of holly, ribbon, or cranberries. You can also decorate the door with an extra Christmas stocking labeled with your family name.

• For a festive look, try wrapping some empty boxes with holiday wrapping paper and place them beside your front door. Place rocks or bricks in the boxes to weigh them down.
