I love Singin' in the Rain too! Gene Kelly is adorable! That scene where he's singing and dancing in the street, all in one take - no camera tricks in those days - just proves his incredible talent.

My fav is Les Miserables! I just love all the songs, the music, the emotion, all the characters, basically everything about les mis. It's legendary. Another one of my favs that hasn't been mentioned yet above is Miss Saigon. The story is dark and heartbreaking, so much angst but it felt like real! And Lea Salonga as the original Kim was beyond brilliant.
