According to HealthStatus.com, a 60 kilo woman burns around 135 calories washing dishes for an hour – but dancing through the dishwashing can jack up the calories burned to 340 (that’s about 4 ½ sugar cookies)!
 
Plus, studies have proved, dancing makes you feel good!
 
In one study (Leste and Rust, 1984) modern dance, music, physical education and mathematics were all tested for their effects on anxiety. Modern dance significantly reduced anxiety – none of the others did.
 
So what’s stopping you? Grab your cleaning bucket, crank up the Christmas Carols and boogey your way through your holiday cleaning – just be sure not to slip on your nice clean floors!
