In the monarchal system, reigning kings and queens are considered ''king regnant'' or ''queen regnant.'' The spouse of the king is dubbed ''queen consort,'' a courtesy title giving her no official powers. The spouse of a reigning queen does not become ''king consort'' because the wife takes the rank and title of her husband, but not vice versa. Philip was Prince of Greece and Denmark but gave up his title when he became a British subject in 1947. On the eve of his marriage to then Princess Elizabeth on November 20, 1947, King George VI created Philip's new title, Prince and Duke of Edinburgh.
Titles for the progeny of the reigning monarch also differ based on sex. The first-born male becomes the ''heir apparent,'' who will become king when the monarch dies or abdicates. If the monarch has a daughter – but a male heir is expected – she is called ''heir presumptive.'' She becomes heir apparent only when it's clear there will be no male heir. Elizabeth II reigns as queen regnant. She was born heir presumptive and later was called heir apparent.

Prince Philip did not become King because in England a King is higher in the ranks than a Queen. That is why a first born boy outranked his sisters even if the sisters were older. They are changing this so that the firstborn (male of female) will carry the title king or queen. Prince William will take the title king but if he has a daughter first then she will become Queen. Her brothers will be princes, It is about time that they stopped discrimination because of your sex. We have seen that Queen Elizabeth has been an outstanding queen and are very proud of her. The royal family bring a lot of money to the country of England I think they bring a lot more than they spend, I personally do not want a president but I could be wrong. I think Charles will be a great king He seems to have changed so much since he married Camilla. He actually laughs and jokes and I have never seen him happier. I am sure he truly loved Diana but I don't think she was easy to live with. However, she had two beautiful children and was a good mother. Now is the time to move on. That doesn't mean we should ever forget Diana. But things have changed and what "since their wedding" has Camilla ever done wrong .. Maybe we all need to accept change and accept this new part of life and be happy for. What would Jesus say?

The Constitutional Monarchy should now be abolished. I would like to see the next government of the next parliament should abolish the Monarchy and introduce an Anarchy system or Republic mybe subjected to a referendum.
