So, how much should you walk? Physical activity guidelines recommend that adults do at least 150 minutes to 300 minutes per week of moderate intensity exercise, or 75 to 150 minutes per week of moderate-to-vigorous intensity aerobic activity, preferably spread throughout the week. If you’re just starting out, take it easier and shorter, and build up to longer harder sessions.
