In August 2023, he was part of a relay teamwhich competed in the 100km inaugural Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) Asian Open, comprising a 2km swim, an 80km bike ride and an 18km run. While Schooling is no longer the fresh-faced 21 year old who won the hearts of the nation at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he has been responsible for inspiring a new generation of talented young sportspeople to be the best they can be. He has made an indelible mark in the nation’s sporting history and we wish him all the best in his new sporting and other endeavours.
