CopperMask is ensuring the health and safety of Filipinos during the pandemic. A known stylish brand, the CopperMask unique facial mask is infused with copper strands and has been clinically proven to potentially deactivate and kill the world’s biggest health enemy to date – the coronavirus.

CopperMask’s all-NEW Copper Strand-Infused Facial Mask – which was earlier tested to have the capacity to block and kill common bacteria and viruses – HAS BEEN CONFIRMED TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO DEACTIVATE AND POTENTIALLY KILL CORONAVIRUSES BY UP TO 99% IN JUST TWO HOURS.*

In a clinical laboratory test conducted by Shanghai WEIPU Chemical Technology Service Co., Ltd. (an ILAC-MRA/CNAS certified research-based testing laboratory facility in Shanghai, China – certified in accordance to ISO/IEC standards), CopperMask Antimicrobial Film was subjected to antiviral assay testing to determine if it had the capacity to kill coronaviruses.

The type of virus used in the antiviral testing was GX-P2V (Guanxu Pangolin Coronavirus), a type of coronavirus that falls into the same lineage of SARS-Cov2 obtained from Pangolins. Pangolins, an ant-eating mammal, are often used in traditional Chinese medicine and is believed that SARS-Cov2 – more commonly known as COVID-19 – might be of ‘probable pangolin origin.’ The Coronavirus GX-P2V has more than 90% similarities in terms of genome sequence and 92.2% structure resemblance to SARS-Cov2.

The SARS-Cov2 is the root cause of the highly-contagious, infectious disease which caused the global pandemic. For safety purposes, many laboratory testing facilities that develop therapeutics and disinfectants – even vaccines targeting SARS-Cov2 – have widely accepted the use GX-P2V as an ideal substitute for the actual COVID-19 virus, due to its higher degree of affinity (amino acid sequence, ace receptor similarity, etc.).

WHAT THE TEST HAS PROVEN:

Reference Report No.: WP-21055252-JC-01En

The test has proven that CopperMask Antimicrobial Film has the capacity to weaken the viral activity rate of coronaviruses up to 99.07% after an incubation period of two hours and 99.15% after 24 hours, eventually deactivating and killing coronaviruses.

CopperMask has also undergone extensive laboratory clinical testing from reputable research testing facilities in China and Korea to assess its efficacy and safety in the fight against common bacteria and viruses and to detect the presence of chemicals and heavy metals that may be harmful to humans.

The following were the certified test results:

  • CopperMask BLOCKS 99.99% of common bacteria and viruses**
  • CopperMask KILLS 99.99% of bacteria***
  • CopperMask contains NO HARMFUL CHEMICALS AND HEAVY METALS****
